Welcome Located in Schomberg, Ontario, the Schomberg Co-operative Nursery School is a non-profit organization that provides children the opportunity to learn through interactive and independent play. The Schomberg Co-operative Nursery School environment is warm, inviting and open to all children between the ages of 2 and 5 years of age. The Nursery School is run by a volunteer Board of Directors, which consists members of the community and parental volunteers. Like you, they want the best for their children in an atmosphere where everyone feels welcome and comfortable. Our staff member is qualified ECE teacher and structures our classroom based on learning through play.

Our goals are for children to take initiative as they make choices, play constructively and share their ideas with others. With enough varied materials, children sort, classify, count objects and figure out what is the same or different. They learn problem solving skills through constructive play and learn how to deal with conflicts.
