Randy and Pati Schranz, along with their two children, Layne and Lisa, started Randy's Towing in their home in 1974.Previous to starting his own business, Randy worked eight years towing for another business. With one truck and lots of determination Randy set out on his own. Three hours as a new business he got his first tow job. Pati became the entire office, as well as mom of to young children. The home phone become Randy's Towing, the mailbox was off limits for fear the phone would ring and a customer could not be helped. As the children grew so did the business. Layne joined his father in the tow business for many years.
