...or a hacker like me. Central Park Pitch and Putt is located at the south side of Central Park and Burnaby and is a great way to spend a Saturday afternoon. The course is good and the tall trees all around you add to the fun of playing. Once a strawberry farm owned by the Chinese, Hackers has been a haven for a long time. The Chaplin family bought the land in 1976; ten and a half acres of beautiful green earth, to mold and shape into a golf course. John and Helen Kastelein purchased the course in 1981 and established the Hackers Haven name. At a starting rate of a $1.50 for adults and a $1 for kids, it has come along way and gone through many changes to become what we now enjoy.

Our Signature Hole #16, is a daunting test of accurate shot making. A drive of 240-yards is required to reach a tight landing area. From there, a precise mid-to-long iron shot is required to set up your approach shot to the green. An elevated green awaits a well-struck short iron, which will give you an excellent birdie chance. WARNING! Do not leave your approach shot short as it could roll down the steep incline toward the fairway.
