After knowing the great experience in Toronto at Wildfire we are so glad that Oshawa has opened this upscale steakhouse. There is no other place to go for a 1st class meal in Durham and we recently celebrated my fathers 90th in their party room. Service, atmosphere and food were fantastic and of course the wine list was impressive.

I loved my first visit to Vincent's Place!
The food is plentiful and delicious, and served in such a classy atmosphere. The staff are delightful, so friendly and warm you feel like family!
The decor is very interesting as you find an old world charm with splashes of oddity. The oddity being the fascinating portraits painted by Vincent him self of his regular customers back in the day.

Katsura is tucked away in a separate, but connected, building right beside the main building of the Prince Hotel.
The food here is very good but only slightly better than the cheaper places in the area. The teppanyaki tables are good. The sushi is fresh. The prices are high and the portions are not particularly large.
So why would someone choose this place over its cheaper competitors? It's the decor and the service that makes this place stand out. From the moment you step in out of the snow, you are surrounded by tasteful Japanese decor. In the main dining area, the place is elegant, simple and to the point.
