At Keys Piano Lessons, I offer private and group piano lessons in Nobleton, Ontario. Music and teaching have been the main threads in my life since I was a teenager. In pursuit of being the best musician and teacher that I can be, over the years I have: completed a Bachelor of Music (First Class Honours - Brock University) received certification as an Orff pedagogy specialist (RCM) studied Early Childhood Education (Ryerson Polytechnical Institute) been accepted as a member of ORMTA (the Ontario Registered Music Teachers' Association) completed the first level Music for Young Children teaching training seminar Every year I attend numerous workshops to enhance my own knowledge about the many aspects of music and/or music education. These include Music for Young Children courses, ORMTA seminars, Orff workshops and any other bits of education that spark my interest. Katherine has been playing the piano since the age of 7 and began her teaching career as a teenager. She has undergone intensive training in piano performance and the art of teaching through various conservatories of music and universities in order to give her students the best musical experience possible. She thoroughly enjoys her students and is passionate about their learning progress.
