The Burwin Institute offers three different groups of correspondence courses in medical diagnostic ultrasound applications aimed at allied health professionals.Our courses serve three objectives, namely providing basic theoretical education, preparing eligible candidates to successfully challenge certification examinations, and providing continuing medical education (CME) credit hours necessary to maintain professional credentials.

Shared Health is a designated bilingual health authority which works with all Manitoba health authorities to plan and implement a coordinated, provincial approach to health services. Our teams contribute to provincial efforts to improve access, quality and reliability of health services for all Manitobans. Shared Health provides operational and administrative support for many areas of our health-care system, allowing health authorities to focus primarily on the delivery of health services for their populations.
