Academic Preschool for Growing Minds is all about your kids' desire to learn, explore, discover, play, and have fun! Kids have daily opportunities to explore and discover their own solutions through hands-on activities by creating their own exciting games, stories and projects. I provide your child with the opportunity to learn basic fundamental skills such as phonics, pre-printing, counting, numbers and problem solving to build confidence! As well, fine motor and gross motor skills are developed through sensory activities. Daily activities include outdoors, games, crafts, stories, circle time, music, play room, learning activities, daily curriculum, skill building hands-on activities plus so much more fun such as themed holiday parties and baking!

It is our belief that by using various teaching philosophies your child will grow and develop in a way that will enhance his/her future learning experiences. The centre provides a positive learning environment for children Toddler to School-age. Our goal is to prepare your child for his/her future education and life skills by developing the following: curiosity, initiative, self esteem, decision making capabilities, interaction with respect for others, interaction with respect for others, fine and gross motor skills and communication skills.

We are a family owned and operated childcare centre that has been proudly serving the King City and surrounding areas since 2005. Our teaching staff are qualified and registered with the College of Early Childhood Educators. Our programs include Full day, Half day, Part time and Nursery School for children age 18 months to 4 years. Our preschool program is aligned with the Ontario Kindergarten curriculum. We also have a Before and After School Program for children age 4 – 12 years. We are open 12 months a year with programs during school closures such as PA Days, March Break and Summer Break.
