Welcome to the office of Dr. Monica Furniss and Associates. Our office is located in the heart of the Laurelwood and Beechwood areas in Waterloo, Ontario. We are a short distance from the University of Waterloo and several of our doctors have been involved in teaching at Waterloo's School of Optometry, in addition to their patient care. We strongly feel that clinical excellence is the foundation of a successful practice and a strong, vibrant profession. Since 1851, Alma Methodists have been meeting for worship. fellowship, and mission. Their earliest meetings were held in homes and then in a school building that was erected in 1860. The first church building was a frame structure built in 1873 on the southeast corner of Superior and Prospect. A second, much larger, building was built in 1895 just to the south of this building.
