I live near Queen and Spadina and have had some difficulty with finding decent low-medium priced sushi. Toshi is across from where I take spin class and I noticed that the sign indicated that the chef was Japanese so I decided to try it out. I found the fish to be fresh, the restaurant to be clean and the service to be attentive. They service appropriately sized rolls and nigiri, as opposed to the giant pieces that many other establishments serve (this is a good think IMO). Overall, very good meal and I think I will be frequenting Toshi a great deal.

This place has some nice food, lots of food served. The chicken, noodles, spring rolls were fantastic. The price of the food however comes at a high price and it's better to eat at a buffet for the price point for dinner.

The food was pretty good. The place is huge as it is which was kind of cool definitely did not see that coming. The atmosphere was really cool and had a fantastic time with my brother and sister (sister is from out of town). Will definitely be going back.

Great place for a quick grab-and-go. Located in the heart of downtown, for the price you pay, the food is adequate and it offers a great variety of Vietnamese food. When you order the food, it gets served in literally 3 minutes. It's that fast. The portion is also enough to fill your hunger for a few hours. Definitely recommend for those who are looking for a quick lunch or dinner.

I'm no connoisseur of sushi or Japanese food, but I have had it a few times elsewhere in Toronto, this is certainly the best experience each time I go. The restaurant itself is clean and nice, the food is good and the service is quick. (Not always friendly, but quick) I usually order pretty generic stuff- california roll, bento box, veg. tempura, etc. Cant beat this place, IMO.

I had my reservations about dining here as it's been at least 2 years since I've been to this Momiji location. However, my usual sushi places were closed on Labour Day, they had Lunch Specials goin' on, so why not?
I ordered Sushi Bento (4 nigiri, 6 spicy salmon, 4 tempura) which was $10.50. My bf had Sushi Combo (6 cali, 7 nigiri), $11.50. And we added the Alaska Roll - $7.95 - we didn't think that we'd have enough food.
Both Lunch Specials were AMAZING value, including miso soup + salad. So we didn't need the Alaska Roll. Fish was pretty fresh, no pieces fell apart, detailed presentation, good service - having our tea refilled without asking!
I have never been here for Dinner, but Lunch Specials are until 3:30pm and GREAT VALUE. So if you're in the Clarkson area, check this place out!
