You really never stop. My dad puts in alot more hours than I do and once my dad decides to retire, I will move on to something else.'Mr. Tsang has been operating this bakery for more than 25 years. A Jeanne's Bakery cake can evoke all kinds of nostalgic emotions in those who long for a taste of home. Feeling left out? You'll probably gravitate toward foods that filled your fridge, programs that were on television and cars that populated driveways years ago, a new study suggests And what's more, people find genuine comfort and a sense of belonging from nostalgic products when they're feeling forlorn, according to the latest issue of the Journal of Consumer Research. 'Nostalgic recollections tend to be much more likely to include other people and people you feel emotionally close to than they are to include recollections of you doing things by yourself,' said Katherine Loveland, a PhD candidate in marketing at Arizona State University and co-author of the study. 'When you consume a nostalgic product, it's sort of prompting all these memories in your brain of times when you consumed this product in the past with close others.'
Hi and Welcome to Our Little Bakery! At cake-ology we make cakes, all kinds of cakes! We also make cupcakes, cakettes and all kinds of other nibbly goodies. If you can't find the information you are looking for below, please don't hesitate to contact us at 612-9866 and we can help guide you to finding or creating something delicious.Cakes! We can do all kinds of cakes. Simple cakes, fun cakes, cakes that look like dogs, wedding cakes, and everything in between. All of our cakes are custom, which means we don't have any in the shop to pick up on a whim, they all need to be ordered ahead of time. We usually book about 2-3 weeks ahead, but please call to see if we can squeeze you in.Each cake is made up of two layers of cake with butter cream icing (layered in between and then crumb coated). We finish our cakes off with fondant icing, and as they are our specialty, we don't charge any extra for using that kind of icing. Fondant is a type of icing used to finish off cakes (there is still butter cream inside the cakes) and it is similar in taste and texture to marsh mellows.
Recently ordered a custom birthday cake on short notice (less than a week). Ive contacted a bunch of bakeries around town and they would only take the order with a ridiculous surcharge. After I explained my circumstance, Cakeology actually came up with a solution for me so that I can still have my custom cake in time. They were very accommodating and helped me make this cake happen. On top of their excellent service, the cake tasted amazing. Definitely one-of-a-kind. Highly recommended! Read more
