It seeks to understand and incorporate into its program and life the Bible-based Anabaptist heritage of its supporting churches. In 1972 Mabel Dunham of Burnaby received her Bachelor of Education and Adult Education diploma at UBC; she was over sixty years of age at the time. Convinced other people her age would also be interested in furthering their education it became Mabel's mission to structure a self-help college.

Academy, which means that all our Microsoft courses now use official curriculum and testing options, allowing our students to achieve valuable, Microsoft Certifications, recognized world-wide. We have also become an official Microsoft Exam Provider and Testing Centre. In addition, our computer training lab will have brand new, state of the art, computers for the Fall term. Other exciting news includes a brand new C.E. teaching classroom in the Sedco Building in central Langley, which will become home for daytime courses, including the Dental Receptionist Program.
