Professional, very knowledgeable, but mostly kind and pleasant to deal with. Had a few cassette tapes to be transferred to a CD. They invited me into the recording room and let me sit and listen to all my tapes for almost two hours. Then the owner edited the music and transferred it right away onto a CD. This studio has it all, great location (right downtown), amazing selection of classes, great teachers and great classmates. I came here as I had been out of ballet for a few years and was looking for a studio that offered adult classes. Not only were the classes exactly what I was looking for, they really motivated me to get back into dance as much as possible. They have everything from beginner to advanced classes, from Ballet to Hip Hop. You won't find a better studio for the 19+ crowd.

On March 21, 1978 the Ukrainian Canadian Cultural Society of Vancouver Island was incorporated. In the ensuing years many things have happened that have helped to bring the Ukrainian community of Victoria and Vancouver Island closer together. The present Ukrainian Cultural Centre was purchased in early 1979 and with the help of many volunteers was renovated and opened later that year. We strive to promote the development of Ukrainian Canadian culture by way of annual events such as our Ukrainian Easter Traditions open house usually held on Palm Sunday. This event includes the sale of traditional Ukrainian Easter baking, demonstrations and classes in the traditional art of Pysanky or Easter Egg writing as well as displays of embroidery, costumes, art and artifacts. Another annual event is Malanka , which is the celebration of the New Year with a gala banquet and dance with performances by the Veselka Ukrainian Dancers. This event is held on a Saturday in the middle of January. Some of the objectives of the society are to promote and propagate the development of Ukrainian-Canadian Culture; also to facilitate a better understanding of Ukrainian-Canadian among other ethnocultural groups
