Central Conservatory of Music is located in Lagoon City Brechin. We strive to keep music alive in this community through education, commitment and participation. We have been in the business for 45 years and our owner, Barry, is three time past president of the American Guild of Music, and a lifetime honour member. Music has many positive effects for emotional and intellectual growth, and it provides a sense of pride and accomplishment. At Keys Piano Lessons, I offer private and group piano lessons in Nobleton, Ontario. Music and teaching have been the main threads in my life since I was a teenager. In pursuit of being the best musician and teacher that I can be, over the years I have: completed a Bachelor of Music (First Class Honours - Brock University) received certification as an Orff pedagogy specialist (RCM) studied Early Childhood Education (Ryerson Polytechnical Institute) been accepted as a member of ORMTA (the Ontario Registered Music Teachers' Association) completed the first level Music for Young Children teaching training seminar Every year I attend numerous workshops to enhance my own knowledge about the many aspects of music and/or music education. These include Music for Young Children courses, ORMTA seminars, Orff workshops and any other bits of education that spark my interest.
