Rowntree Montessori Schools is an award-winning private school for students from Pre-Kindergarten to Grade 8. RMS has four campuses in Brampton, and offers a progressive, well-rounded curriculum that is ahead of the Ministry set guidelines. We teach French and Robotics starting in Pre-Kindergarten, and offer small classroom sizes, which means low teacher to student ratios. Our code of conduct supports discipline and security with positive reinforcement and praise. We accept children any time during the school year. Summer Learning Camp is also available.

Gatrik Education is primarily a tutoring center for high school students who would benefit from an alternative learning environment. Our mission at Gatrik Education is to foster a safe and inclusive community which celebrates spirit, diversity, and success for all. We are proud to offer educational programs that are different from the traditional classroom setting. We have a very small teacher to student ratio and offer plenty of opportunities for small group discussions with our tutors. We work hard to ensure that our students achieve academic success, and are supported by all staff to be their best.

I have a passion for creativity and sharing my knowledge of crochet. I have a love of teaching others how to tap into their creativity and I am eager to share this with others. I offer an evening class and a daytime class for a course that currently runs for 4 weeks in small intimate sessions of up to 6 students. I also offer and advanced beginner course for those who are looking to learn more. I would be willing to teach workshops, attend Brownie and Girl Guide units to help with textile or creative badges, attend retreats and schools. As years have passed, we have less time for creative outlets and less time to be tought such endeavours by our elders. My goal is to ignite a spark in a younger generation to carry on creative traditions and provide an outlet for creative needs.
