The second week is my turn to volunteer with the Pearl of the Orient Philippine Pavilion at 364 Dufferin Avenue.Nayong Pilipino PavilionI always think of how lucky we are, as a community, to be given two weeks to share our culture with Winnipeg! My highlight is definitely the hospitality of the volunteers. My family and I enjoyed the cultural dances from Kayumanggi Philippines Performing Arts.South SudanBeing a newly established country, this was my first time attending this pavilion. If I could summarize my experience in one word, it would be 'passion.' The emcee, in particular, was knowledgeable and proud of his country's history and the performances they were presenting.
