Quality is job one at this elegant Entertainment District sushi and sashimi house, whose clean, minimal, modern take on this culinary favourite makes it a sweet choice for impressing a date or just indulging a personal appetite. On-line reviews resonate with declarations that this is “the best sushi in the city.” Taste, texture and colour are given equal billing by genius chefs trained in the time-tested art of this food’s preparation. JaBistroll — a sensual adventure in salmon, snow crab, uni, cucumber and tobiko — gets special mention, as does the famous sashimi platter. Seating is fairly limited, so reservations are recommended. Sit at the bar and catch a masterclass in Japanese culinary creativity.

Come savor a delightful meal at Michael's On Simcoe. You can even enjoy the sunlight on their terrace. They are open at night all week. You can get there by public transit and bicycle. The surrounding area is notable for its merchants and parks.
I came to Michael's for the first time looking for an amazing steak and thats exactly what I got! The service is amazing, food is truly top notch and the wines are out of this world. The owner and management are one of a kind and are willing to go the extra mile to make the customer happy. Would give this establishment a 5 star out of 5 star because I could not find any flaw. Good atmosphere and excellent food. We enjoyed a tasty steak with garlic mash and ceasar salad on the side, chicken wings as a starter and had a lovely chocolates brownie with ice cream, cream and chocolate sauce for desert, excellent and very reasonably priced for downtown Toronto. Our waiter Moose was full of energy and very friendly and happy to help with our food choices, lovely meal, would absolutely recommend. Read more

Rich upscale restaurant connected to a rich upscale hotel, Luckee is on that level where people take your coat before they seat you. They accomidated a large party for lunch in a deceptively private room with quite a lot of baggage. Ordered the dim sum basket to start with the luckee duck bowl for main which were cooked perfectly, wrapped and presented amazingly. The panna cotta was rich and delicate and that perfect mangoy flavour. A treat and a pleasure Read more
