The art world has evolved because of the selfie and social media-driven world of today. Realistic figurative art in the traditional sense is no longer in vogue. Painted figures in a contemporary style have changed this genre of art. With a single brushstroke, a figure captivates and tells a story that is left up to interpretation on the part of the viewer. Though each figure has at least one story told from a range of perspectives, there may not be a singular linear story.
