In an area known for its exclusive golfing facilities, Westwood Plateau offers a 9-hole executive daily fee course with a reputation for playability and hospitality. Designed by Michael Hurdzan, Westwood Plateau is a comfortable, easily walked course that is abundant with wildlife.

The men's club is open to any men interested in joining. Our membership is open to the public. There is also a companion Ladies Club for interested women. Our members are both working and retired and come from all over Vancouver and the Lower Mainland. Our membership is a mixture of young and middle age adults, seniors and retirees. Our weekend events are designed so that everyone can compete, have fun and enjoy the camaraderie. Unlike the private and semi-private golf clubs, there is no huge golf course membership fee.

We intend to engage and empower the community through a number of activities, including guided walks through local Vancouver neighborhoods that focus on birds and their habitats. We will also conduct workshops about art and how its can help people gain a greater understanding of our local ecology. We anticipate that through a program of research, outreach, and education, that people will start to take into account non-human uses of the city. Jesse Garbe, MFAJesse Garbe is a Sessional Instructor and Alumni of Emily Carr University of Art + Design. In 2008, he also graduated from NSCAD University's MFA Program, where he received the Joseph Beuys Memorial Award. Jesse's recent work examines our relationship with nature. It puts forward the idea that paintings, diagrams, taxidermy and other visual aids play a significant role in how we understand animals, plants and their habitats.

You can leave downtown Vancouver and be here in 15 minutes, but when you step onto the first tee, you'll feel as if you're miles away. With a beautiful clubhouse that overlooks the forested fairways and practice areas, Seymour provides North Shore and Lower Mainland groups with catering for special events such as tournaments, meetings, and weddings. Seymour is also open for public dining on Mondays, so our neighbours may come in and enjoy a taste of what membership provides.
