At Elva’s Piano Studio I offer professional level lessons with a personal touch. Private lessons for ages 5+ are available along with Royal Conservatory of Music piano exam and music theory exam preparation. I truly believe that all students benefit from music lessons regardless if their goal is to attain a high standing with the RCM or if they’re learning for personal development & enjoyment. I follow the RCM curriculum & methodology as it’s the best route to develop an in-depth understanding & appreciation of music. Lessons are customized to individual students based on learning styles - various teaching techniques are used. I have a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Waterloo & I’m a RCM Certified Teacher (Elementary/Intermediate/Advanced Specialist) teaching beginner level up to Grade 8. I stay current with RCM requirements and focus on professional development by attending workshops and completing online courses. I love to teach & build relationships with my students!
The Piano Studio offers music lessons for all ages through high-quality, fun, and professional instruction for piano, guitar, violin, voice, drums, saxophone, and flute. We also teach music theory and have fun group programs such as Rock Band, ukulele classes, and our Junior Musicians Program for 4-5 year-olds.
