Bright Star Montessori School is committed to the needs and development of the child in the intellectual, social, physical and emotional realms. Based on the principles set out by Dr. Maria Montessori, each child will have an opportunity to develop his / her potential to the fullest, while respecting the needs of the individual, as well as the group.
At Starlight Child Care Centre we strongly believe that it is through play children learn best. We structured our daycare to provide a warm and safe environment with a wide range of materials which allow children to discover, create, explore, make choices and create to their own interests. Educating provides an opportunity for continuous learning and growth. In our competitive society it is important for children to not only receive a solid education, but to work with someone who is aware and sensitive to their individual needs.
Natacha V. Beim established Core Education & Fine Arts (CEFA), Canada's first junior kindergarten school, in 1998. Our full day early learning program is designed for infants and children up to five years old. The enriched curriculum features a unique partnership of core subjects, such as Reading and Math, with fine arts, including Drama and Yoga, providing children with the freedom to learn and grow through play.
Bear Creek Cubs Childcare provides a safe, age and developmentally appropriate environment and curriculum for children. Located in Surrey, we make sure that our children are nurtured with love and care, while stimulating them to learn and grow. We prepare activities that will help them enhance their physical, social, emotional and cognitive development. Our main goal is to support and respect each child to be life-long learners. Call us today for more information and to speak to our staff about enrollment.
The provincial government has placed Parent Participation Preschools under the jurisdiction of the Community Care Facilities Licensing Act. In order to be a member of the Council of Parent Participation Preschools and to protect the quality of care children receive in all such preschools, it is required by childcare licensing that all persons who participate (assist) in any daycare or preschool center must have adequate knowledge of children.
We believe children are entitled to environments and opportunities that foster positive growth while being treated with dignity and respect. We recognize that play is a child's response to life and the medium through which he/she learns, and we therefore employ this principle in our day-to-day activities.
