Welcome to Extra Steps Learning Centres! We offer fun, friendly 021 (7)preschool programs and summer day camps for young children in beautiful Vancouver, Canada. Our programs are play-based and are designed to promote children's physical, emotional, social, intellectual and linguistic development in order to help them get ready for kindergarten and beyond. At Extra Steps, we pride ourselves on getting to know each child as an individual.

Bright Angels Children's Centre is a licensed childcare facility that provides a stimulating and positive growing environment for children. We have a variety of programs such as Infant Toddler care, Preschool, Daycare, Special Needs Care, Out-of-School Care (transportation to and from the surrounding elementary schools). All staff are well qualified and provide learning experiences to enhance the child's motor, social, cognitive intellectual and emotional skills. We want the children to feel at home, while they are with us.

Children pass through sensitive periods of development early in life. Dr. Montessori described the child's mind between the time of birth and six years of age as the 'absorbent mind'. It is during this stage that a child has a tremendous ability to learn and assimilate from the world around him, without conscious effort. During this time, children are particularly receptive to certain external stimuli. A Montessori teacher recognizes and takes advantage of these highly perceptive stages through the introduction of materials and activities which are specially designed to stimulate the intellect.

We opened our doors in September 2006 and have had four successful years with many children benefiting from a quality Montessori education. Our teachers are ECE (Early Childhood Education) certified and have been trained in the Montessori philosophy through the AMI (Association Montessori International) program. AMI was started in 1929 by Maria Montessori, the founder of the Montessori philosophy. The training today closely follows the original work of Maria Montessori, started over 100 years ago. At Morgan Creek Montessori, we pride ourselves with our high level of training and dedication to the Montessori philosophy. We look forward to working with many children and their families in the South Surrey area.

Little Koala Montessori Academy is located in Richmond, providing full-day childcare and preschool programs for children aged 30 months to 5 years old. Little Koala Montessori Academy provides children with a head start in language and numeracy, preparing them for elementary school, while also nurturing their creativity, inquiry and innovations through playful, engaging activities.
