Camperville is located on the west shore of Lake Winnipegosis. The northern boundary of the community is formed by Pine Creek First Nation and the eastern boundary by the lake of Winnipegosis. To the southwest, the community is bordered by the rural municipality of Mountain. Camperville is about 37 km east by road from Cowan, and 51 km north of Winnipegosis.
The Rural Municipality of Swan River, with 2,784 residents, lies East of the Saskatchewan border, forming a valley between the Duck and Porcupine Mountains, and has within its borders the Town of Swan River; Villages of Benito and Bowsman; and Hamlets of Durban and Kenville.
Our Municipality is breathtakingly beautiful with lush greenery, pristine lakes and rivers, and a calm that originates with our quiet communities. The communities of Bellsite, Birch River, Cowan, Mafeking, Lenswood, Novra, Pine River, Pulp River and Sclater are all rooted in the R.M. of Mountain.
