Your music instruction headquarters! Over 20 years of service to the community! Since 1990, Peter Grealey has been teaching the drums, piano/ keyboard, guitar and bass at his home studio at the corner of Head and Wollaston street. Conveniently located with lots of free parking, the E.M.C. is easily recognized by its unique piano fence and a large red music note on the side. Peter first started teaching music at the age of 18 in Sudbury Ontario where he was raised. It was here that he studied piano at Cambrian College and later Laurentian University. As well as teaching, Peter has been a professional musician for many years and has led his own rock, country, jazz and variety dance bands. Peter also performed as principal percussion in the Sudbury Symphony Orchestra for four years. At the E.M.C. the first lesson is free. There is no P.S.T. or G.S.T. on music lessons.

Professional, very knowledgeable, but mostly kind and pleasant to deal with. Had a few cassette tapes to be transferred to a CD. They invited me into the recording room and let me sit and listen to all my tapes for almost two hours. Then the owner edited the music and transferred it right away onto a CD. Also, they charge a very reasonable price. Thank you! You did an amazing job on the CD! ***** Highly recommend this business! Read more
I started taking pottery lessons in high school at the Willistead Manor Coach House in the early 70's. With money I earned selling functional pottery I bought my first wheel and kiln while attending high school. In 1980 I graduated from Sheridan College School Craft & Design with a Ceramic's Major. Teaching many children's clay classes over the years has inspired me to make ornamental clay animals and learn new project ideas such as clay whistles. The functional pottery I do is inspired by the needs of my family for durable, chip resistant pottery that can withstand being microwaved and put through a dishwasher. It is very important to me that my work be affordable and that I also have products on the table that would interest children and be in their price range.
