The Manitoba Home Care Program, established in September 1974, is the oldest, most comprehensive, province-wide, universal home care program in Canada. Home Care is provided to Manitobans of all ages based on assessed need and taking into account other resources available to the individual including families, community resources and other programs.The Home Care program was established to help people live at home, remaining independent for as long as possible, thereby avoiding or delaying the need for individuals to go into long term care facilities.

HEDGE is a 55+ apartment complex that reconsiders the typically modest seniors' housing typology as an opportunity for architectural richness. The four-storey project consists of 48 apartments distributed between two buildings that together frame and preserve a mature stand of cottonwoods. The building's circulation scheme and the landscape intertwine so that experiencing the well-treed courtyard becomes an integral part of everyday life.Starting from the ground floor and continuing upwards to the roof terrace, a gently sloping promenade moves from interior to exterior and back again, forming a continuous walkway that weaves the buildings together and bridges the half storey height differential separating them. The boardwalk serves a pragmatic role by providing access to common exit stairs for both buildings, and also offers a recreational amenity for residents - a means to take a daily stroll through the trees.The building is clad in corrugated corten steel, with added depth provided by a mesh screen that spans vertically between eight inch deep flashing angles, creating space where planters can be placed.

'Stage 1' precautions were put in place in 2009 but have since been suspended by the Archbishop's office. One slot each year is reserved for exhibition proposals brought to the attention of the Director/Curator through the Centre's open submission policy.

United Boxing Club is committed to teaching the art of boxing to anyone willing to take the challenge. United Boxing is a not-for-profit organization and so all revenues generated are used to offset operating expenses and help support United's Competitive Boxing Team. United Boxing is well known for its accomplished athletes, and its focus on technical expertise.Ryan Savage is the Head Coach of United Boxing Club and was a member of the Canadian National Elite Boxing Team from 1995-2003. Ryan represented Canada in over 40 international competitions around the world, including the 2000 Olympic Games Qualifier, 2001 World Elite Amateur Boxing Championships, 2001 Francophone Games and the 2002 Commonwealth Games. Ryan retired his athletic career in 2003, after competing in over 160 bouts. Ryan is now a NCCP Level 3 certified coach and Vice President of Boxing Canad,a the body responsible for overseeing the sport of amateur boxing in Canada.. Ryan has coached and managed at all levels of the sport, including the 2006 Commonwealth Games in Melbourne, Australi,a and the 2008 Olympic Games in Beijing, China.

FPS is a psychological practice with a multidisciplinary clinical team. Our practice is oriented to working with people in a holistic manner, addressing core issues related to problematic functioning with a strength-based orientation to facilitate change, personal growth and wellness. FPS offers two clinical streams. FPS Psychological Health Services provides general psychological services attending to an array of personal issues. Areas of specialization include addictions, abuse and trauma, emotion management and relationships. Forensic Psychological Services provides assessment, treatment, consultation and training in areas related to the application of clinical services in legal systems and to individuals who have come in contact with the law and/or demonstrate problematic behaviours that have the potential to bring them in conflict with the law. Both FPS streams provide services to children, adolescents and adults and offer culturally attentive and relevant services.
