Awesome Asian fusion brunch with Filipino and Vietnamese influences. It was so good that I did not even notice my potato hash had no meat! It was comprised of a unique combo of ingredients including chick peas,l and sweet potato. I tried a bite of the breakfast Vietnamese bun and that was tasty too. There are 8 seats in the patio, not the best view as you see the viaduct but when it is sunny and warm it was just right. The service was friendly and excellent. Several spritzers available too.Read more
Divine Elements Health Centre was brought to life through the passion and vision of Doctors Sonya and Nicholas Jensen. They have done extensive travelling abroad prior to the conception of the clinic which has greatly influenced them and the way they practice. It is their goal to inspire others to find their joy and balance through lifestyle changes, nutritional implementation/supplementation and developing a consistent practice to continually grow and improve oneself. Together they've built a clinic that encompasses Ayurvedic/Yogic philosophy and lifestyle along with modern treatments that work on the core of one's imbalance. In a world filled with "Plastic Paddy" establishments, the Heather stands out as a beacon of authenticity. An Irish House that is owned by Irish people who actually work there.
My wife and I used to love strolling the city and ending up at the Irish Heather for a pint (or three) and some fantastic authentic pub fare. This was in their original location. Then, we had a family and it took us a while to get back but we finally got back to check out their new digs and new menu. While the beer selection is still fantastic we were disappointed in the overall vibe. The food was still good but the value took a bit of a hit from their original location. While it was a great experience overall we still miss the original.Read more
