While I worked in the helping field since the mid-eighties, my work as a professional therapist began in 2000, after I graduated with a Master's degree in Social Work (MSW) at UBC. The people I work with face one or more of the following concerns: anxiety; depression; couple or family issues; grief and loss; low self esteem; residential school; school or workplace concerns; stress and burnout; trauma (PTSD). Our dogs are not kennelled they are offered comfy beds to lie on where they feel safe. We offer a service where you can drop in with your wet muddy smelly dog and within 30-40 min we will have your dog smelling and feeling better. We always encourage taking advantage of this extra time and doing an errand or just go grabbing a coffee while you wait.
