Port Coquitlam Bowl was built in 1950 by the Beattie and Froland families. The Bowling Centre was purchased by the Madaski family in 1958 and remains in the family to this day. The current owner is Brian Madaski.The original Bowling Centre was just six lanes. In 1963, four more lanes were added, and in 1968 another four were added. Today, we have 14 lanes available to bowl on.Automatic scoring was implemented in 1991 and has kept Port Coquitlam Bowl modern while keeping old-style charm.
We encourage the buddy system for all first timers, and all new to the sport. We recommend shooting in a group setting and require a minimum of two people per group. No single shooters unless you are law enforcement, military, a current member of DVC, or hold a valid PAL License. No exceptions.
