Runnymede Public School was founded in 1916 as a modest four-room building. Since then, it has expanded to thirty rooms and now accommodates approximately 1100 students from junior kindergarten to Grade 8. About half of our student population is enrolled in our Early French Immersion program, which begins in senior kindergarten. In grade 7, Runnymede welcomes students from feeder schools Keele Street Public School and Howard Park Public School.
For over 80 years, Western Tech, situated in picturesque Bloor West Village, has provided students with an exceptional Academic program coupled with state-of-the-art computer, classroom and technological facilities. In addition to offering all of the required Academic courses for University, College and Workplace destinations, Western provides the rare opportunity for students to add the hands-on high skill set often missing from high school graduates as they pursue their future Degree and Diploma programs. Our students develop their interests and direction through an exploration of our diverse course offerings in English, Social Sciences, Science, Mathematics, Art, Physical and Health Education, Technology as well at the two specialized programs – Design Studio (formerly CyberArts) and Engineering Robotics
