Jomar is an architect, designer, builder, 3D modeller, graphic artist, web developer and an entrepreneur. He studied B.S. in Architecture at Mapua Institute of Technology, Intramuros, Manila in 1994 and started his career as a working student. Beginning in 1995, his work experiences includes 5 years in scale model building, 6 years as manual draftsman, 3 years assistant teacher in an international school, more than 15 years in CAD drafting, about 13 years in 3D image rendering, practiced 7 years of professional architecture and construction project management in the Philippines, and 7 years in graphic arts, web development and business management. Most of these experiences were done simultaneously.

The Manitoba Home Care Program, established in September 1974, is the oldest, most comprehensive, province-wide, universal home care program in Canada. Home Care is provided to Manitobans of all ages based on assessed need and taking into account other resources available to the individual including families, community resources and other programs.The Home Care program was established to help people live at home, remaining independent for as long as possible, thereby avoiding or delaying the need for individuals to go into long term care facilities.

On 12 February 1887, a strong representation of Winnipeg's newspaper publishers, editors and reporters gathered in their club rooms at Winnipeg City Hall to elect the first board for the Winnipeg Press Club. They could not know that night that the club would, in the 21st century, reign as Canada's oldest media club, and one of the four oldest in the world. Elected as the first officers of the club were Thomas Hiram Preston as President (the runner-up was Charles Acton Burrows), William Edward Maclellan as Vice-President, Archibald McNee as Treasurer, and Charles Wesley Handscomb as Secretary, with an Executive Committee consisting of John W. Dafoe, George A. Flynn, and A. P. Wood. The early objectives of the Winnipeg Press Club were similar to those of the present day club: 1) to promote the professional, social, cultural and educational interests of its members and encourage professional exchange and development, 2) to provide a united voice to the practice of journalism and freedom of the press in Winnipeg, and 3) to establish fraternal relationships with fellow press clubs and media associations around the world
