The Nanaimo campus is home to the Art and Design Department, a personal and inclusive learning environment featuring small class-sizes with teaching faculty readily available to assist students.
Nanaimo Art Gallery is a public art gallery committed to inspiring and challenging our community through art. Exhibitions of work by professional artists are excellent, relevant and extend out into the community through dynamic public programs. Art Lab, our dedicated space for learning, offers innovative workshops and hands-on activities for children, teens and adults. The Gallery holds a growing collection of art, connects with thousands of students through TD Artists in the Schools, and runs The Gallery Store which features a selection of high-quality, locally made artworks and objects.
