Greenhouse Conference & AGM: Corner Brook February 12 & 13The Department of Natural Resources and the NL Hort Council are presenting a Greenhouse Conference in Corner Brook on February 12 and 13 2014.This 2-day event will offer several presentations covering greenhouse operations, management and technologies. There will also be concurrent sessions where you can choose to focus on floriculture or vegetable management.In conjunction with this conference the Hort Council will hold its Annual General Meeting at the Greenwood Inn from 8-9pm on Wednesday February 12 2014. Members can RENEW ONLINE now or in person at the meeting.With the support of the Government of Newfoundland and Labrador we are happy to offer registration for this conference at no charge. The Royal St.John's Regatta Committee is pleased to announce that the Fall Chevron Learn to Row Program will commence this Monday, September 15, 2014 for a four week period, ending Thursday October 9. Coaching and a coxswain will be provided for the Youth Learn to Row (ages 10 - 17), while the Adult Learn to Row must provide their own coxswain. It is necessary that each crew have a team of 4 - 6 eligible rowers.
