CrossFit Montreal opened its doors in June 2006 and was the first CrossFit Affiliate centre in Quebec, 3rd in Canada and 47th in the world at the time. CrossFit Montreal started operations in a small local of 1900 Sq ft in 2006. In 2009, the first male athlete in Quebe's history to attend the CrossFit Games in California was from CrossFit Montreal. That same year, CrossFit Montreal expanded to a new location of 8000 sq ft. In 2011, the 3rd female athlete in Quebec's history to attend the CrossFit Games in California came from CrossFit Montreal.
CrossFit is a multidisciplinary training program at high intensity. Whether gymnastics, weightlifting, plyometrics and cardio, movements are taught and tailored to the capabilities of the client in the short, intense workouts. The courses have a duration of one hour where warming and teaching technique are carried out under supervision of a certified trainer.
