I have been to other telescope stores that lack attention, service, and give a bad feeling as if they are more bothered.
I was looking for an upgrade and went into Vancouver Telescope for the first time. These people are absolutely fantastic, very knowledgeable, helpful, and returned the very next day. I am very happy with the owner's personal attention, and the staff. I will no longer go to any other store for an upgrade or accessories. I am happy with my purchase and look forward to my new telescope! Shame on the other store who made me feel like I was bothering them. This is a real store with real service and support! I love Taf's. It has a Berlinesque feel to it and is one of kind. Such a relief in this franchised world! AND There are not TV's in every corner annoying the patrons. The art and music adds a unique atmosphere which is very pleasurable. It has an underground feeling with cozy seating upstairs. I always go to TAF's when I'm Downtown.

We had a lovely table by the window so we had a nice view. Overall ambience is very bright and contemporary. To our benefit the restaurant was not that busy on a weeknight and we parked very close. The service was very good. We enjoyed their daily flatbread special and crab cakes to start. For our mains we went with halibut and osso bucco, both too were very good and cooked just right. And to finish went with a delicious choco molten cake just perfect to share.

I love this place! The staff are amazing, and make you feel SO comfortable. They make every effort to talk to you and explain things in detail if need be. The hygienists are all so gentle, you would never know they were cleaning while they do it. Very trendy location, and decor. Hopefully they get Wi-Fi sometime soon so you can use your phone to watch shows as an alternative to the great TV's they have for each patient room!
