Kids & Us Community Childcare is a private non-profit registered charity, operating seven childcare daycare sites in south Grey and Bruce Counties. It is governed by a board of directors, made up of parents and community members. Kids & Us Community Childcare is also a host agency for the Ontario early years program, offering family education programs and support. Our main Ontario early years site is in Markdale, and there are programs at other locations - visit our website kidsandus.ca for more information. Kids Street Integrated Non-Profit Co-operative Nursery School (Port Elgin) Inc., commonly referred to as 'Kids Street', was incorporated in September 1989, and is fully owned and operated by the parents of the children attending the school. Kids Street provides preschool programs for children ages 18 months to 5 years. In accordance with the articles set out in the by-laws of the corporation (Section GB), the school's program and curriculum contents are developed, co-ordinated and implemented by the Supervisor/Teacher.
